FAQs
Q: How did you come up with the idea for a Fanbook?
A: We worked together on an art and story piece for the BNHA Nippon zine and really enjoyed the experience.
Q: Will this be a physical publication?
A: Yes. We plan to create a physical, high quality Fanbook in full color, at least A4 size.
Q: What will be the content of the Fanbook?
A: Beloved old works, updated and polished, and new ones specifically created for the Fanbook.
Q: Will this be SFW?
A: Yes, SFW. Deku and Kacchan's relationship will be depicted in various platonic and romantic ways: as friends, rivals, partners, lovers.
Q: Will you be producing tie-in merch?
A: Yes. The interest check showed that people are definitely looking forward to having fanbook-related merch.
Q: What is the timetable for this project?
A: We hope to open pre-orders by August and be in production between September-October. We plan to have it shipped by November so you could have it on-hand in time for Christmas.
Q: Will you have a
ko-fi subscription?
A: Yes! The interest check showed people want to see behind-the-scenes work and sneak peeks into what Seeress and Yuki are creating. We'll be opening that soon and plan to give a discount or perhaps exclusive merch for all subscribers once pre-orders open.
Q: Can I still tell you about which artwork or story I liked, or merch I want to see, or shower you with my love?
A: Yes. The BKDK Fanbook has a Twitter account and a CuriousCat. You can always message us. We really enjoyed all the lovely comments people left us in the interest check.
Q: Can you tell us about the art you are using for background?
A: It's a concept of Kami!Katsuki and Miko!Deku—a god and his shrine 'maiden', created by Noctoyuki in July 2020, part of a series of works leading up to Deku's birthday. It's since been dusted off and polished, and will likely be part of the Fanbook.
